Admissions Process
One of the following:
  • Secondary school leaving certificate or diploma
  • BTEC: MPP
  • GCSE/IGSCE "O" Levels: three subject exams with grades of A, B, C or D; A Levels: 1 or 2 subject exams with grades of A, B, C or D
  • IB first year or IB Certificate
  • A combination of A-Level, BTEC and other accepted qualifications that total 48 UCAS Tariff points (UK)
One of the following:
  • A/S or A levels at the appropriate level or the Matriculation Certificate Exam with three subjects exams with grades of A, B, C or D
  • IB Diploma with 34 points overall or the IB Diploma with specific achievement in higher/standard level subjects

Master of Science Programmes
  • European three-year initial degree or a recognised equivalent of EQF/MQF Level 6;
    OR a foreign university degree from outside the EHEA which allows access to graduate studies in the country of origin;
  • Previous studies/experience in the relevant field:
    • Degree in Business Management and Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Industrial Engineering, or other similar qualifications
    • Degrees in similar fields such as Mathematics, Physics, Computer Sciences, etc.
    • Degrees in other fields and postgraduate training in Business Management and Administration, Economics, or other similar fields
    • Degrees in other fields and GMAT (minimum score 650), or GBSB Global’s own online admission test
    • Degrees in other fields and a minimum of 2 years professional experience in a relevant field
Master of Arts Programmes

MBA

  • A minimum of 3 years’ full-time relevant professional experience post-graduation

    OR a foreign degree from outside the EHEA equivalent to EQF/MQF Level 7
  • An initial 2000-word research proposal outlining the research theme, aim and objectives, possible gap/s and proposed research methodology
  • A Personal Statement of 500-1000 words outlining applicants’ individual competences and strengths and providing their reflections regarding the expectations and value of the programme as well as to their personal advancement and career development

* The student must have studied at least one year in classes taught in English. Taking classes to study the English language is not sufficient.

  5. Motivation Letter stating your career aspirations and the reasons behind your decision to apply for your degree at GBSB Global. Please write in essay format and limit it to 1-2 pages.

Transfer to GBSB Global
Undergraduate Transfer Students
  • An applicant should meet the standard first year entry requirements for the program;
  • An applicant has studied a recognized EQF/MQF Level 6 (Bachelor) program of study;
  • An applicant has studied a foreign university degree from outside the EHEA which is equivalent to EQF/MQF Level 6;
  • An applicant has passed and achieved not less than 30 ECTS in his/her previous program of study (if less than 30 ECTS are achieved, this is considered a first-year undergraduate student and no credit will be granted);
  • Studies had to be conducted not more than 10 years ago;
  • An applicant has studied the same or very similar program to that chosen at GBSB Global;
  • Credit granted shall not exceed 2/3 (120 ECTS) of the overall credit value of the program
Graduate Transfer Students
  • An applicant should meet the standard entry requirements for the Master’s programme;
  • An applicant has studied a recognised EQF Level 7 (Master) programme of study;
  • An applicant has studied a foreign university degree from outside the EHEA which is equivalent to EQF Level 7;
  • An applicant has studied the same or very similar programme to that chosen at GBSB Global;
  • Studies had to be conducted not more than 10 years ago;
  • An applicant has passed and achieved not less than 30 ECTS in his/her previous programme of study (if less than 30 ECTS are achieved, general admission criteria will apply);
  • Credit granted shall not exceed 1/3 of the overall credit value of the programme;

All undergraduate and postgraduate programs at GBSB Global Business School welcome transfer students. When selecting your study program, consider the nature of your previous university coursework, as this can enhance the likelihood of more credits being transferred. If your prior studies were in a non-business discipline, you may still apply as a transfer student, but please note that fewer courses might be transferable.

General Transfer Rules at GBSB Global Business School:
  • Minimum ECTS Requirement: Transfer students presenting at least 30 ECTS at the time of application may be considered for admission.
  • Fewer than 30 ECTS: Applicants with fewer than 30 ECTS may be admitted as transfer students based on their high school academic record, contingent upon successful completion of their first semester of university coursework.
  • Relevant Subject Transfer: Credits in business and economics-related subjects are transferable. Language courses are not counted. If there are missing credits, general subjects such as sociology, law, etc., may be considered additionally.
  • Grade Requirement: Only modules with a grade of C (70) or equivalent and above are eligible for transfer.
